Zhōu Yángjùn 周揚俊 ( Yǔzǎi 禹載, fl. late seventeenth century, 清), early-Qīng physician of Sūzhōu 蘇州. A gòngshēng 貢生 turned physician, Zhōu was active in the Kāngxī era and is best known for his contribution to the YuánMíngQīng Jīnguì commentary line: he supplemented the earlier Yuán-period Zhào Yǐdé 趙以德 Jīnguì yùhán jīng yǎn yì 金匱玉函經衍義 commentary with additional annotations, producing the Jīnguì yùhán jīng èr zhù 金匱玉函經二註 (KR3ef083, “Two Annotators on the Jīnguì yùhán jīng”, printed 1687) — the “two annotators” being Zhào and Zhōu themselves. Zhōu was also the author of Wēn rè shǔ yì quán shū 溫熱暑疫全書 (a treatise on warm-disease and epidemic disorders) and Sì míng xīn yào 四明心要. Detailed lifedates are not preserved. He is one of the principal early-Qīng Sūzhōu physicians and a major influence on the 葉桂 Yè Tiānshì wēnbìng synthesis.
