嚴培西

Yán Péixī 嚴培西

A late-Míng / early-Qīng lay-Buddhist scholar of the Yúnqī Zhūhóng 雲棲袾宏 袾宏 circle, identified in the colophons of his work as a jūshì 居士. Lifedates not preserved with precision. He collaborated with 虞執西 Yú Zhíxī 虞執西 on the compilation of the 《雲棲淨土彙語》 Yúnqī jìngtǔ huìyǔ KR6p0089 — an anthology of Yúnqī’s Pure Land sayings. Beyond this work no substantial biographical record survives.
