Zhāng Shòuyí 張壽頤 (1873–1934), zì Shānléi 山雷 (commonly used as the form of citation; sometimes also given as zì Shòufǔ 壽甫). Native of Jiādìng 嘉定 (modern Shànghǎi). Late-Qīng / early-Republican jīngfāng 經方-leaning physician and pharmacologist. He was one of the founding teachers of the modern Chinese-medicine school system: after the 1911 revolution he taught at the Lánxī Zhōngyī Zhuānménxuéxiào 蘭谿中醫專門學校 (Zhèjiāng), one of the first formal TCM colleges, where he trained a generation of Mínguó physicians. His major works include the Běncǎo zhèngyì 本草正義 (KR3ec063, printed 1932), the Zhōngfēng kǎo 中風斠詮, and Shānléi yīxué cóngshū 山雷醫學叢書. The Běncǎo zhèngyì is the principal Republican-era critical pharmacopoeia and the immediate predecessor of the modern PRC TCM materia medica curriculum. Three CBDB entries record the name 張壽頤 but none with confident dates matching this physician; no CBDB id assigned.
