Zhāng Shānléi 張山雷 (1873–1934), personal name Zhāng Shòuyí 張壽頤, was a late-Qīng / Republican Jiāngsū physician and medical educator from Jiādìng 嘉定. Principal of the Lánxī 蘭谿中醫專門學校 medical school in Zhèjiāng from 1920, he trained more than 600 students and produced an extensive textbook corpus including the Zhōngfēng zhuǎnzhèng 中風斠詮, Nán yī shū 難疑書, and Jí yī tōngsù wèn dá 急疾通俗問答. He stood with 惲鐵樵 Yùn Tiěqiáo as one of the principal defenders of traditional Chinese medicine during the Republican-era debates on the abolition of Chinese medicine and was a notable promoter of 俞樾 Yú Yuè’s textual scholarship on the medical classics (KR3ea034).
