Huìkě 慧可
Second Patriarch of Chinese Chán in the canonical lineage; dharma-heir of 菩提達磨 Bodhidharma; teacher of 僧璨 Sēngcàn. Traditional dates 487–593. Subject of the famous “pacify-the-mind” exchange with Bodhidharma preserved in the Ānxīn fǎmén of KR6q0084 Shǎoshì liù mén.
