Cháo Bǔzhī 晁補之 (1053–1110), zì Wújiù 无咎, hào Guīláizǐ 歸來子, of Jùyě 鉅野 (Shāndōng). Jìnshì 1079. One of the Sūmén sì xuéshì 蘇門四學士 (Four Scholars of the Sū School — Huáng Tíngjiān 黃庭堅, Qín Guān 秦觀, Zhāng Lěi 張耒, and Cháo). Cousin of Cháo Yuèzhī 晁說之 晁說之. Held appointments under Yuányòu including Lǐbù lángzhōng; demoted in Shàoshèng / Yuánfú under Xīnfǎ–Yuányòu dispute; recalled at Chóngníng but again exiled. Author of the Jīlèi jí 雞肋集 KR4d0105 in 70 juǎn — one of the principal Northern-Sòng biéjí — and a major cí-poet in the SūShì manner. Biography: Sòng shǐ j. 444.
