Hóng Chú 洪芻 (fl. ShàoshèngJìngkāng, c. 1094–1126), Jūfù 駒父, of Nánchāng 南昌 (Jiāngxī). Second of the Sì Hóng 四洪 brothers; nephew of Huáng Tíngjiān 黃庭堅 黃庭堅. Jìnshì of Shàoshèng 1 / 1094. Jìngkāng mid-period: held office to Jiànyì dàifū (Grand Adviser of Remonstrance). After the fall of Kāifēng — during the Jin extortion of imperial-family wealth — Hóng entered the zhū wáng dǐ (princes’ residences) and yǐ shì xié nèirén chànggē shìjiǔ (using power to coerce palace-women to sing and serve wine) — an offence against decency that resulted in his banishment to Shāméndǎo 沙門島 (an island prison). Author of Lǎopǔ jí 老圃集 KR4d0142 originally in 1 juǎn per Sòng shǐ YìwénzhìSìkù reconstruction is 2 juǎn with 170 poems. Listed in Jiāngxī shīshè zōngpài tú. Liú Kèzhuāng’s Hòucūn shīhuà: Sān Hóng yǔ Xú Shīchuān jiē Shāngǔ zhī shēng — “the Three Hóng (without Yǔ, who died early) and Xú Shīchuān were all Shāngǔ’s nephews”; further praises Hóng Chú’s poetry as yóu gōng (especially skilled). Lù Yóu’s Lǎoxuéān bǐjì praises his island-banishment poem.
