Luó Kāilín 羅開驎 (variant 羅開麟), hào Kōngzhū jūshì 空諸居士 (“Layman of Emptied All”), monastic name Zhēnxìng 真性. Lay dharma-heir of Jièān Wùjìn 介菴悟進 (1612–1673), thus a lay co-disciple of 圓法, 真璨, 真在, 真雄. Native of Zuìlǐ 檇李 (Jiāxīng); lifedates unknown.
Formation. As a youth attended Jìngwèiān 敬畏菴 with his father (Héngyánggōng 衡陽公) at a shàngtáng by Shíchē chánshī 石車禪師, but did not yet credit Chán teaching. Both parents died in 順治丙戌 = 1646, and he wandered in great hardship; his elder brother-in-law Shī Yuēān 施約菴 repeatedly drew him toward the zōng tradition. Together they visited Dōngtǎ Qí 東塔奇, then Fúyán Róng 福嚴容, finally Jīnmíng Wùjìn 介菴, from whom he received fùfǎ.

Buddhist patronage. Author of the principal preface to KR6q0230 《調實居士證源錄》 of his lineage-brother 陸瑛 (Kāngxī 30 = 1691 autumn). Author of one of the prefaces to KR6q0247 《普光坦菴禪師語錄》 (Pǔguāng Tǎnān: 機峻說 全弘錄). Author of one of the two prefaces to KR6q0536 《天則能禪師語錄》 (with 機雲).
