Gāo Shìshì 高世栻 (zì Shìyù 士御, CBDB 438036, no confident dates), fl. late 17th century, native of Qiántáng 錢唐 (Hángzhōu). The leading disciple of the Lúshān 侶山 medical academy founder Zhāng Zhìcōng 張志聰, and the principal continuator of the Hángzhōu Lúshān school after Zhāng’s death.
After Zhāng’s death (c. 1695) Gāo took up multiple unfinished manuscripts and brought them to completion. His principal completions and works:
- Běncǎo chóngyuán 本草崇原 (KR3ec050) — completed posthumously from Zhāng’s manuscript.
- Sùwèn jí zhù 素問集注 — collaborative commentary on the Sùwèn.
- Língshū jí zhù 靈樞集注 — on the Língshū.
- Yīxué zhēn zhuàn 醫學真傳 (1699) — Gāo’s own clinical synthesis.
No confident lifedates; his floruit is approximately 1660–1700.
