In the Kanripo catalog the bare temple-name Gāozōng 高宗 (with lifedates 1711–1799) refers to the sixth Qīng emperor, Gāozōng Chúnhuángdì — personal name Hónglì 弘曆, reigning under the Qiánlóng 乾隆 era-name (1735–1796). Substantive biographical detail (the Sìkù quánshū commission of 1773–1782, imperial poetry and prefaces, the personal-name taboo on 弘 throughout the SKQS) is given on the longer companion note 高宗弘曆.

In KR2f the name 高宗 appears in the catalog meta as the editor (敕編) of KR2f0006 Shìzōng Xiànhuángdì shèngxùn 世宗憲皇帝聖訓 (1741), the Qiánlóng-edited shèngxùn of his father Yōngzhèng’s pronouncements.
