Sēngbǎo zhuàn 僧寶傳

A generic title used by the Sìkù tíyào of the Wǔdēng huìyuán to refer to the Sēngbǎo zhuàn tradition of Chán “Jewels of the Saṅgha” biographies. The principal works in this tradition are Chánlín sēngbǎo zhuàn 禪林僧寶傳 (KR6q0040) by Huìhóng 惠洪 and Nán-Sòng Yuán Míng Chánlín sēngbǎo zhuàn 南宋元明禪林僧寶傳 (KR6q0042) by Zìróng 自融.
