Other points of interest
- Family-line uncle-nephew transmission. Xíngtāo’s childhood study under his uncle Hànyuè Fǎzàng is a documented case of family-bound monastic learning subsequently regularized through Hóngchǔ’s full transmission — uncommon in the broader Mì-yún-line and indicative of the Sān-fēng-line’s localized Wújiāng / Sūzhōu kinship-network.
- Continuous Sānfēng Guóqīng abbacy. The two-abbacy sequence Jìjī (d. 1648) → Xíngtāo (1650–52) extends the Sān-fēng-line’s claim on Tiāntái Guóqīngsì for at least 1640s–1652 — a sustained Línjì occupancy of the Tiāntái flagship in the late-Míng / early-Qīng transition window.
