Other points of interest

This yǔlù completes the teacher-disciple pair with KR6q0569 — together documenting two generations of Púyáng Tōngtiānsì LínjìYángqí Buddhism in Fújiàn under the Wànrú Tōngwēi branch. Chāoyuán is the same person (or possibly homonymous within the broader Mì-yún-line cohort) who authored the prefaces to several Sìchuān yǔlù in the J38–J39 cluster (cf. KR6q0554, KR6q0557, KR6q0559 — all signed in 1695–1696, dated within his lifetime).
