Fótuó-shàn-duō 佛陀扇多 (*Buddhaśānta, “Buddha-Pacified”; lifedates unknown), Northern-Wèi 元魏 / Eastern-Wèi Indian Buddhist translator, fl. 524–539. According to the Lìdài sānbǎo jì 歷代三寶紀 and the Kāi-yuán shìjiào lù, Buddhaśānta arrived at the Wèi capital Luòyáng during Xiào-míng-dì 孝明帝’s late reign and worked at the Bái-mǎ sì 白馬寺 producing translations including [[KR6b0033|Yín-sè nǚ jīng 銀色女經 (T179)]], the Tathāgata-mahāprajñā portion of the Mahāyānasūtrālaṃkāra tradition (T672), and several smaller texts; he is one of the better-attested early-sixth-century Yè / Luòyáng translators alongside Bodhiruci 菩提流支 and Prajñāruci 般若流支.
