A separate LínjìYángqí Chán master named Běnzhēn 本真, zì Xiànglín 象林; often referred to as Xiànglín Běnzhēn 象林本真 (DILA A016469). Born 1620 (estimated); died 康熙辛未夏 = 1691 summer, age 72. Native of Suízhōu 隨州 (Húběi).
Abbacies (four). The principal seat was Qízhōu Zǐyúnshān Báiyún chánsì 蘄州紫雲山白雲禪寺 (entered 順治甲午仲冬初 = 1654-12).
Disciple. Xǐxīn Zhàoshuǐ 洗心照水 照水 (b. ~1654), sole fǎsì — received fùfǎ in 癸亥春 = 1683 at age 30.
Work. KR6q0571 《白雲象林本真禪師語錄》 1 juan, J39 B457, zhòngzǐ (re-engraved) by fǎsì 照水; preface by lay disciple Miàoxīn 妙心 dated 順治巳亥歲佛歡喜日 = 1659-08-30 (Yúlánpén day).
