Dàozhèng 道正 (1614–1691), zì Liányuè 蓮月, was a Línjì chánshī of the early-Qīng Sìchuān “Shǔzōng” 蜀宗 lineage and a dharma-heir of Pòshān Hǎimíng 海明 破山海明 (1597–1666). The DILA authority standardizes the dharma-name as 印正, with 道正 / 蓮月正 / 蓮月印正 all attested as variants — the Jiāxīng Canon colophons and the 嘉興藏 catalog meta for both KR6q0445 and KR6q0446 use 道正, which is followed here. Lay surname Jiāng 姜; mother Yáng 楊; native of Yuèchíxiàn 岳池縣 in Guǒzhōu 果州 (modern Sìchuān, Nánchōng prefecture). Tonsured after his mother’s death when he overheard a sūtra-recitation containing the sānjiè huǒzhái 三界火宅 simile; cut his own hair against his father’s refusal; trained first under Jìngyǔ 淨宇 (on the Shǒuléngyán) and Gāoyuán 高原 (on Wéishí); turned to Chán after meeting Xiàngyái Xìngtǐng 性珽 象崖性珽 in Guìzhōu; ultimately crossed the Fúlíng 涪陵 to meet Pòshān at Zhōnglù Dàshùtáng 忠路大樹堂 and received transmission after an exchange over a stumble on the road to Nánpǔ 南浦.
First abbacy: Nánpǔ Tàibáiyán 南浦太白巖 (at Pòshān’s appointment). Subsequent posts: Liángshān Jīnchéngsì 梁山金城寺 (where he was appointed xītáng 西堂 under Pòshān); Yāshān Qīfèngsì 鴉山栖鳳寺; six years of seated practice at Yèlángshān Huáibáitáng 夜郎山懷白堂; and from Shùnzhì 戊戌 = 1658 the Jiǔqīngshān Dōngyìn Chánsì 九青山東印禪寺 at Zūnyìfǔ 遵義府 (Guìzhōu). Later successively Jiàolín 覺林, Bǎolún 寶輪, Dùdá 度達, Bǎoshòu 保壽 (all Sìchuān); then Lóngxīng 龍興, Jǐngdé 景德, Fúchāng 福昌, Yùquán 玉泉, Tiānhuáng 天皇 (all Húběi). Resident at Yùquánsì 玉泉寺 in Dāngyáng 當陽 (Húběi) for at least seven years from c. 1671, whence the 2-juan 《玉泉蓮月正禪師語錄》 (KR6q0446, prefaced 康熙十七 / 1678 by 俞廷瑞). Chief xíngshí 行實 narrated to disciples in 康熙癸卯 / 1663; chief yǔlù prefaced 康熙庚戌 / 1670 by 施博. Died 康熙三十年 1691 7/10, shìshòu 78. Chief heirs Yìtiān Hǎi 溢天海 and Chūnyán Róng 春巖容; the compiler of the six-juan yǔlù Xìngróng 性容 is of that latter circle, with the 雲幢 fā-generation heir Fāhuì 發慧 compiling the Yùquán recension.
