Xiǎnquán 顯權, zì Dábiàn 達變, dharma-heir of Mùchén Shānwēng Dàomín 道忞 木陳山翁道忞 (1596–1674) at Tiāntóngsì 天童寺. Native of Fēngchéng 豐城 (Jiāngxī); lay surname Wáng 王. Shìshòu 52 (lifedates not precisely recovered; predeceased his teacher Dàomín, hence death before 1674). First studied under Mìyún Yuánwù 圓悟 at Tiāntóng before Yuánwù’s 1642 death (the preface-phrase xiān Tiāntóng zhuīfú 先天童椎拂); subsequently sealed by Dàomín. Served as fēnzuò 分座 (assistant teacher) at Tiāntóng before assuming his own abbacy at Wǔlěishān Língfēng Chánsì 五磊山靈峰禪寺 in Cíxīxiàn 慈谿縣 (Míngzhōu, modern Níngbō prefecture).
Works. (i) Co-compiler (lead, sìfǎ ménrén děng biān) of the 20-juan 《天童弘覺忞禪師語錄》 (= Tiāntóng Hóngjué Mín chánshī yǔlù) — the principal Mùchén Dàomín yǔlù preserved in the Zhōnghuá Tripitaka as No. 1746. (ii) KR6q0457 《達變權禪師語錄》 5 juan, Jiāxīng Canon J29 B248, recorded by shìzhě Hǎichéng 海澂, with front-preface by tóngmén fǎdì Lùchéng Bīngān Zhāng Lìlián 鹿城冰菴張立廉. Sole named heir: Wǔlěi Língshān Tiānyīn Cháo chánshī 五磊靈山天音朝.
