About the work
The supplementary “Wings” (附翼) volume to 柯琴 Kē Qín’s Lái sū jí set, comprising essays and pharmacological notes that complement the main commentary and the Shānghán lùn yì (KR3ef007). The work is in two juan; it covers ancillary topics — pharmacology of canonical Shānghán formulas, dosage relations, prescription combinations — that the main Lùn zhù and Yì did not address systematically.
Abstract
Composition window late-Kāngxī (1669–1684) follows Kē’s continued editorial activity in his later years. In modern editions the Fù yì is bound with the Lùn zhù (KR3ef014), the Yì (KR3ef007), and posthumously with the Fǎ zǔ (KR3ef042) to form the complete Kē Qín Shānghán set under the Lái sū jí umbrella.
