Kē Qín 柯琴 (zì Yùnbó 韻伯, hào Sìfēng 似峰; conventional lifedates ca. 1662–1735, 清), Kāngxī / Yōngzhèng period scholar-physician, native of Cíxī 慈溪 (Zhèjiāng), later resident in Yúshān 虞山 (Chángshú, Jiāngsū). One of the most influential Qīng commentators on the Shānghán lùn, founder of the “channel-pattern” (以證類證 yǐ zhèng lèi zhèng) school of Shānghán exegesis, which re-organizes the Shānghán materials by clinical syndrome rather than by the Wáng Shūhé manuscript sequence. Principal works:
(KR3ef013) — his 4-juan general commentary on the Shānghán lùn.
(KR3ef014) — companion commentary.
(KR3ef007) — 2-juan theoretical companion.
(KR3ef033) — supplementary essays.
(KR3ef042) — posthumous compilation from his Yúshān manuscripts.
His commentary tradition was central to the late-Qīng Shānghán curriculum and remains influential in modern Chinese-medicine pedagogy. No CBDB record. The conventional lifedates 1662–1735 are widely cited but not securely documented; some authorities give 1660s as birth and ca. 1700s as death.
