Huáng dì nèi jīng Sù wèn bǔ zhù shì wén 黃帝內經素問補註釋文
Huángdì Nèijīng Sùwèn with Supplementary Commentary and Text-Explanations
commented by 王冰 (Wáng Bīng, c. 710 – c. 805) — mid-Táng physician
The standard received recension of the Sù wèn 素問 — first of the two parts of the foundational Chinese medical classic Huáng dì nèi jīng 黃帝內經. Wáng Bīng’s 762 edition rearranged the chapters, supplied the lost “Seven Great Treatises” (七篇大論) on cosmological correspondences (probably from another textual lineage), and added running commentary. Further supplemented by Sòng editors Lín Yì 林億 and Gāo Bǎo héng 高保衡 (c. 1078).
The Dào zàng version in 50 juàn reflects the full apparatus of text, Wáng Bīng’s commentary, and the Sòng editorial supplements. This is one of the very few core Chinese medical classics preserved within the Dào zàng. Preserved as DZ 1018 / CT 1018 (Tài xuán bù 太玄部).
Dating. Core Wáng Bīng recension 762; Sòng supplements c. 1078. Dynasty: 唐-宋.
