A three-juan Chán-lineage genealogical record by Biéān Xìngtǒng 別庵性統 (1661–1717) himself, compiled by his dharma-heir Hóngxiù 弘秀. Documents the tóng mén 同門 (“same gate” / fellow dharma-brother) lineage-network of Xìngtǒng’s own generation of Línjì Chán masters descending from Sānshān Dēnglái 三山燈來.

The tóng mén lù 同門錄 genre documents the “brotherhood” (lineage-siblings) of a given master — recording the various dharma-heirs of a single teacher and their subsequent monastic careers. Xìngtǒng’s three-juan compilation thus serves as a parallel-track documentation to the canonical lamp-records: rather than tracing the vertical descent of the Línjì dharma-transmission, the tóng mén lù records the horizontal spread of dharma-siblings within a single master-generation.
Xìngtǒng’s broader editorial programme — of which this text is one component — comprehensively documents the Sānshān Dēnglái lineage-tradition through multiple genres: doctrinal synthesis KR6q0169, biographical chronology KR6q0209, ceremonial compositions KR6q0232, and now fellow-disciple records KR6q0233. Together these constitute an unusually complete self-documenting Chán lineage-archive.
