Jīngāngjīng zàn jí (nǐ) 金剛經讚集(擬)

Collected Vajracchedikā Encomia (Recension I, Witness 3 — provisionally titled) anonymous Chinese composition; critical edition by 達照 (整理)

About the work

The third early-type witness of the Jīngāngjīng zàn cycle — see KR6v0093 for full discussion.

Abstract

KR6v0095 prints from Pelliot 2277 — head and tail damaged, no original title. Like 323 (KR6v0094), P.2277 integrates the zàn-cycle with the Vajracchedikā sūtra-passages but does not include the shíbā zhùchù enumeration. The three early-type witnesses (P.2039-verso, 323, P.2277) represent three genuinely independent recensions of the same Type-I zàn-cycle, suggesting widespread early-to-mid Táng circulation of this text-form.
