Zhào Yǐdé 趙以德 (zì Liángrén 良仁, hào Yúnjū 雲居, fl. late Yuán / early Míng), YuánMíng transitional physician of Pújiāng 浦江 (Zhèjiāng), best known as the principal early Jīnguì yào lüè commentator. A student of 朱震亨 Zhū Dānxī, Zhào is the author of the Jīnguì yùhán jīng yǎn yì 金匱玉函經衍義 (Amplification of the Jīnguì yùhán jīng) — the first sustained commentary on the Jīnguì yào lüè and one of the principal vehicles for the transmission of Zhū Dānxī’s clinical doctrine in Jīnguì exegesis. The work circulated independently until the late seventeenth century, when 周揚俊 (Zhōu Yángjùn) supplemented Zhào’s commentary with additional annotations and produced the 二註 二註 (“Two Annotators”) edition (KR3ef083, 1687) — the form in which Zhào’s commentary is now principally transmitted. Detailed lifedates are not preserved.
