Guǎngzhēn 廣真 (Chuīwàn Guǎngzhēn 吹萬廣真)
Late-Míng Sichuan LínjìYángqí Chán master and founder of the Jùyúnpài 聚雲派 sub-lineage. Hào Chuīwàn 吹萬 (“Blowing the Ten-Thousand”); also Jùyún Guǎngzhēn 聚雲廣真 for his Jùyúnsì 聚雲寺 abbacy. Lifedates 1582 – 1639/8/28 (Wànlì 10 – Chóngzhēn 12/7/30, age 58, per his tomb-inscription Chuīwàn chánshī tǎ míng).
One of the founders of the distinctive Sichuan Chán regional tradition through his Jùyúnpài sub-lineage. Surviving works in the Kanripo corpus include:
- Yī guàn bié chuán 一貫別傳 KR6q0235 — his five-juan Chán-Confucian integrative treatise on the unity of Confucian and Chán transmission-doctrines.
- Chuīwàn chánshī yǔ lù (further volume in the catalog — KR6q0236 and possibly subsequent entries).
Part of the late-Míng / early-Qīng Sichuan Chán tradition alongside Dúfēng Běnshàn, Sānshān Dēnglái, Pòshí Wùzhuó, and others.
