Yuánzhào 元照 (1048–1116), styled Dàzhì lǜshī 大智律師 (“Great-Wisdom Vinaya Master”), Northern-Sòng Buddhist scholar-monk best known as the principal Sòng Lǜzōng 律宗 (Vinaya School) revivalist and a major Pure Land commentator. Resident at the Língzhīsì 靈芝寺 in Hángzhōu. Author of the [[KR6f0077|Guān wú liàng shòu fó jīng yì shū 觀無量壽佛經義疏]] (T1754) — the Vinaya-school reading of the Pure Land Visualization Sūtra — and many other Vinaya and Pure Land commentaries.
